Facility Technician with a Focus on Fire Safety

About the assignment

Coor has the important task of being responsible for property management at several hospitals and schools in Gästrikland and Hälsingland. We are looking for someone who wants to use their skills and commitment to create safe, functional environments for patients, students, and staff. What will you be working on?

As a facility technician focusing on fire safety, you will work broadly and variably within property-related services in a dynamic environment. You will belong to a team that has good collaboration between competencies in a supportive, pleasant, and inclusive work culture.

Your responsibilities as a facility technician include:

  • Being responsible for permits for flammable hot work and participating in fire rounds
  • Supervision and maintenance of properties and systematic fire protection work (SBA)
  • Assisting with authority inspections
  • Decommissioning fire alarms
  • Working with sprinkler systems
  • Ensuring that fault reports are completed on time and with the right needs/knowledge
  • Participating in the establishment and follow-up of maintenance plans and improvement proposals
  • Conducting risk assessments in the work environment and suggesting developments

Who are you?

You are meticulous, self-driven, and have a strong focus on safety. You enjoy taking responsibility for fire protection equipment and work proactively to improve routines and create security. You are positive, service-oriented, and customer-focused while being a role model when it comes to safety. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with both customers and colleagues in a team-oriented approach.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A property technology background with additional training in fire/fire technology. Previous experience in a similar role is considered an advantage.
  • A valid driver's license (B)
  • Experience working with a computer as a work tool and using multiple apps on a mobile device
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, to understand safety regulations

About the position

  • Employment type: Permanent position
  • Employment rate: Full-time 100%
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 07-16. On-call duty included.
  • Start date: By agreement
  • Probationary period: 6 months
